Jakarta
Saturday, December 16th, 2006Have been in Jakarta for almost a week. Im leaving tonight for Medan. Last two nights, I went to a club, K7. Its claimed to be the largest club in South East Asia (according to my couz, have no idea if its legit). Anyway, it was kinda an experience to me. It was the first time I saw girls dancing (hot, but not nude) on stage. First thought came into my mind: surprise, then pity. I kinda wonder why they do such for living. It made me feel that Im way luckier than them, dont have to do so, I even can go overseas to study! Its kinda sad to know that there are still a lot of pple (financially) suffer. The wealthiness gap in Jakarta is so obvious. You would see a lot of slum areas amidst the tall buildings. Ironic indeed. Sometimes, I just wish the government to pay more more attention on poverty, than the politics issue (whats the president’s faults, bla bla bla) and other trivial matters. Indonesia is not a poor country yet poverty is still an issue here
Yesterday went to Plante Hollywood watching Happy Feet (midnight show). The animation is soooooo good and funny!!! Laughing out loud while watching. Yet, I dropped tears. For some reason my heart went out for the main character: Mumble, the happy feet. You might find it silly for my crying, but I was touched. I kinda understood his feeling: loneliness and being left out. I feel pity on him. Oh, the graphics isssss soooo goooooddddd!!!! Looks so real!
Seeing from story point of view, its just okay. Nothing really special on the story part. But, the whole package is good. It’s surely recommended!
Will make you laugh,for sure!
Okay then… gotta go!!
